I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS LAST WEEK: BRING MARKERS/CRAYONS TO CLASS

1) Find ANY article or news source on the Presidential election. Type your response to what you are reading. It must be one page long (double-spaced) and you must answer the following questions:What is the name of the article? How did you find it? What is it about (brief summary)? How does this make you feel? Do you feel that the writer is taking any sides? Why or why not?


2) Get notebooks ready. They will be checked anyday next week. See checklist below....

Checklist for social studies sourcebooks...
-Table of Contents (each day is listed and labeled with page number and date). Each day must be labeled with a description (either a question of the day or a topic, like Mayans) See sample...
-There is no other subject in sourcebook other than social studies
-Every assignment is completed including Do Now's
-Notebook is organized (chronological order and limited doodling)
